They don't deserve a 1

submitted information to get a quote on transporting a truck. Alice with MoverJet contacted me with a quote. I have an air compressor mounted in the bed of the truck and asked it that would cause any problems, it is not taller than the cab and has ridden fine for quite some time. She stated she would have to get with the carriers to find out (at 11:23 a.m.). I waited for information. The next morning I still had not heard back so I sent a follow up email. I was told she had not seen an order placed by me so did not check. So, am I supposed to place an order and sign a contract without knowing they can do it or if the price will change?? I stated this is not something I would do, I need the information first. After 14 hours with no response I contacted someone else that was able to discuss with me and give me an answer immediately. I informed Alice that after that length of time with no communication and the inability to inform me if they could complete the job that I went elsewhere. Her response?? - "And my apologies that we are not working 24/7 to answer all customers immediately. We are just humans." Ok, so I asked if you could do the job at 11:23 a.m. and you could not respond in a business day? In a customer service oriented business isn't that your job? There were no problems with her continuous emails pushing me to place an order with them until I needed to know if they could actually do the job I was to pay them for. Well bless your heart sweetie, bless your heart. Would I recommend them, absolutely not. Pushy, non-communicative, and rude. They made what is already a trying experience more difficult and now things are delayed due to their lack of communication. They deserve a 0, so glad I discovered the ethics prior to actually signing with them.
