Better Think Twice with Montway

My car was supposed to be picked up Wednesday Dec. 2 and delivered Dec. 5. No one came. I called Montway. They said the driver had an air brake problem. Why didn't anyone call me to tell me. I had to call them to find out. Then the driver couldn't pick the car up until Friday or Saturday and delivery would be the following Wed. or Thur. Not acceptable I said. I said cancel my order. They wanted to find another driver. After going around and around with them finally a driver would pick the car up Thur and deliver Monday.,I said ok even though it is costing me extra money each day it doesn't come since I rented a car until Sat. Dec. 5 now I have to keep renting a car each day after that until my car shows up. I called the driver today (Dec. 6) He's in South Carolina,tomorrow North Carolina,Tuesday New Jersey then New York. He was very rude to me on the phone and said he doesn't know for sure when my c ar will be here. I called Montway and they are going to get in contact with the driver and get back to me. I know they won't get back to me because every time they have said that I've had to contact them. I have no idea when my. car will arrive but this whole experience with Montway has been a nightmare!

Hello Nick, we're sorry to hear that we have not met your expectations. Montway is 100% transparent when it comes to expectations for pick-up and delivery. Montway provided the customer with our documentation which explicitly indicates that both pick-up and delivery are an estimate and that delays may occur. Customers are expected to be present at both ends of the shipment and if are not available, designate a contact in their place. This info is provided before someone ever books an order with Montway so they are prepared and can be found on our website and terms & conditions. https://www.montway.com/ The customer was provided with an estimated pick-up 12/3 and estimated delivery 12/7. The vehicle was successfully picked up on 12/3 and delivered 12/9. As the typical transit time for this route is 4-6 days, this would be more than acceptable in the industry. Again, we do apologize if there was any confusion in the services that we provide. We'd love the opportunity to speak with the customer and try and make things right.
