Horrible!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND MONTWAY AUTO TRANSPORT, HORRIBLE SERVICE.

The first day the driver failed to pick up my vehicle without so much a courtesy call, I was worried but thought driver was just running late. After 5 hours I decide to call Montway, they apologize and placed me on hold while they contacted the driver. At that time a Montway representative informed me that the car carrier broke down in Maine and they were going to assign the car to a different driver, even receive a confirmation email.

The next day comes, same thing... car fails to be picked up, I called, their excuse again... " The truck broke down", it was very clear that Montway forgot to reassign the car to a different driver. Their reps also were pretty rude and blamed the driver.

At this time I was fed up with Montway and requested a refund of my deposit, and went with a different company.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, as we regret to learn you were unsatisfied with the service received. Please note that all service dates in the auto transport industry are only estimated and not guaranteed. The auto transport industry is much different than the package delivery industry due to different factors: traffic -delays, detours, speed limits. Also weather delays, mandatory rest stops, pickup and delivery availability delays, weight station checks, police inspections, truck breakdowns, etc. Thus the provided estimated dates could vary by several days. We understand that this has caused an inconvenience for you and we sincerely apologize. Montway offers a 1-5 business days pick up window after the first available date listed. We here at Montway do our best to adhere to our customer's schedules and provided time frames. However, there are a lot of moving parts that need to come together for the transport of a vehicle and sometimes we are not able to avoid instances that push schedules to their limits, which is why we cannot and do not guarantee dates. The customers first available day was 5/10/2016 and we did assign a driver within the first day. However the carriers truck did break down and the carrier could not proceed with the pickup. We did immediately assign another carrier to pick up your vehicle. However, the 2nd carrier had an issue with his truck as well. It was at that time in which the customer wanted to cancel and proceeded to let us know in writing, per our terms and conditions. At that point the order was canceled and customer was provided a refund. We are truly sorry that we were not able to transport this customer's vehicle. We hope to be the another opportunity shall you or any friends/family is in need of auto transport.
