This is the first time I transported a vehicle from one location to another. I was a bit skeptical and concerned that everything would work as planned. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. Montway located a driver within a few days but had to increase the price by $50. I was Ok with that since I wanted the car transported and $50 was not much of an increase. Although they picked up the vehicle a little later than expected (Saturday night instead of Saturday morning), the delivery took only 7 days. the driver called me on a Friday and said he would be there on Saturday morning between 9AM and 11AM. He delivered around 9:30AM. The vehicle was very dirty on the outside but other than that was in perfect condition. The luggage in the back was undisturbed and made the trip just fine.

The only thing that was a minor problem is that I had a hard time understanding the driver's English. I did understand enough of it to know what was happening. It would have been nice to be able to track the progress of the transport instead of just knowing it was shipped and a few days later, I hear it is being delivered the next day. It seems like they should have a tracking system similar to UPS or FedEx that shows where you package is along the route. At the very least they could have sent an email with an occasional update. Overall, I was happy with the move and would use Montway again.
