I contacted Letty about 4 weeks before I needed my car to be shipped (May 2010). A week later, she called to tell me that my car had been assigned to a transport company, explained the pick-up process, and provided the company's contact information.

My car was transported by David from American Auto Transport (Mount Prospect, IL). A few days before the scheduled pick-up, he called to ask if it would be okay to pick up the car a day early. In return, he would accommodate my schedule during drop-off. And that he did! David dropped off my car 3 hours after my plane landed in California. David was very friendly and professional throughout the entire pick-up and drop-off process. Total time in transit was 7 days.

When I was looking for a transport company, I started with a list of 30 companies and narrowed it down to 3-4 after considering cost and reviews. I chose Monstar after reading through all of their reviews and considering their long history of reviews. I'm happy with my decision and have recommended Monstar to a friend who also needed to move a car from MI to CA. I'll be moving my car back to MI next month and will be letting Letty arrange the transport.
