Bottom Line: David Hilty at Mercury was 10-Stars awesome all the way! Backstory: My moving company's website offered a link to request third party auto transport quotes for a long distance move. I was literally swamped with an avalanche of texts and phone calls from so many brokers it was overwhelming. Most contacts were pushy, insistent, and in many cases very hard to understand. The quote amounts ranged from $250 to $1,100. I checked out a number of websites, many of which seemed to be the broker's personal home. I had a quote from Mercury that was in the middle of the price range. When I clicked on the broker-provided link, their website was professional, and actually showed me a photo of the broker. I had a direct telephone call with David Hilty and he was friendly, knowledgeable and to be honest a breath of fresh air after all the pushy salespeople who had already tried to push me into selecting their broker services. So I booked with Mercury and David was right beside me with frequent texts and emails throughout the bidding process with the carrier transport companies. When he told me something would happen in a certain time frame, it did (like clockwork). A carrier bid on my job and I accepted. David then continued to keep in touch with me as the process concluded. The carrier picked up my car and safely transported it to my new state without a hitch. During transport and after delivery, David was also very attentive to make sure I was happy, and any questions were answered. If you've never needed to transport a personal auto long distance, the process is very confusing. I really appreciated David Hilty's excellent care of me during the move.
