NIGHTMARE: This is the first time I have ever used an auto transport company and it was a nightmare. I did my research and used an enclosed carrier specifically to negate any damage that might occur from weather or road debris. My car has less than 9000 miles and was purchased new from the dealer 9 months ago. My car arrived with scratches on the front and two sides of the vehicle, and the car transported above mine had dripped petrol all over it and the smell inside my vehicle is still stifling several weeks later. The worst of the damage was to my rear suspension as it was tied down incorrectly and caused ~2000.00 in damage to my vehicle and rendered it unsafe to drive. I understand that mistakes happen but Dave went on a verbal tirade blaming everyone but himself for any of the damage- including me. I learned that his insurance has a high deductible and they would not be paying anything and they also stated that he had an earlier claim on his policy by someone else. After 35 years of driving I was now forced to file my first insurance claim, something I specifically went out of my way to avoid by using an enclosed carrier. Everyone from the Nissan dealer to my insurance adjuster agreed that the suspension issue was caused by Dave improperly securing the vehicle. I was without my car for 7 days. I realize that Dave has many good reviews and I am sure he did a decent job for most people but his true character was revealed when he would not accept responsibility for verified damage and chose instead to verbally abuse me. I will never use this carrier again and I caution others as well.

I only asked this lady's husband to send me pictures of the claimed damage. This car was left for This lady the day after hurricane Irene in numbered parking space that she designated. The keys were left at the complexes security office. Because of the weather and the congestion we requested that we drive the car there from a safer unloading area. The bottom line is this yes we are self insured for up to $2500 and we do pay claims that we can verify the damage . To date I have seen No photos of the damage nor the broken parts. when I see them I will gladly determine Quickly the Claim and if we did something wrong and it wasn't the local towing company that moved an illegally parked car? then we will honor her request. So far I only have my own pictures that show the car tied down by the factory recommended fittings.. You be the judge?....MAZZ
