Magic Carpet Auto carriers, like so many other car transporters, was very eager to quote a low price to transport my car. John called me and we spoke briefly about the transaction and his price was $750 or $795 the best I remember. I was going with another company I don't remember who now but John said "Let me look them up on the transport reviews" so he did and they didn't have a favorable report or he chose one that didn't sound so hot, any way he diswaded me from using them and using Magic Carpet. This transaction was make about two weeks before Memorial Day. Delays Delays No one is going to the west coast is what I heard. Finally on June 10 the car was picked up at 2:00 AM. After Magic Carpet raised the price twice to $1,050.00 from $700.00. Not what I call an honest up front transaction.
This was my first experience with auto transport company's and I know business doesn't always go smoothly. With so many company's out there I will search for a more tightly run ship. To change the price after the deal is done and you have given your credit card isn't my idea of reputable.

David, remote North Carolina to Colorado was difficult to quote and yes the Carrier did ask for an additional amount to cover their fuel and time to drive to your location that was unexpected and unfortunately affected our original quote. Thank you for your business.
