delays and excuses

This criticism is really directed at the choice by your firm of the carrier. From what I understand, Pioneer Auto Express is more of a broker than a carrier. The truckers they chose were individuals who either owned their own trucks, or were a very small firm. This was true on each coast. Numerous times were set up for pick up, and then changed. My schedule was disrupted many times to accommodate these changes. Finally, after nine days of delays, the car was picked up.

Sometime after we had booked with Magic Carpet, we were told the car would not be delivered to
Arcata, CA, but to Sacramento, 300 miles south, and there was no alternative, because Pioneer did not deliver that far north. So, my son had to fly down to Sacramento, and wait. The car was a day and 12 hours late, because we were told the equipment broke down. The driver explained that his rig broke down and he had to have his bother come up with his rig. He was a nice fellow, and my son enjoyed a drink together at Hooters.

The price of $1,250.00 was reasonable, and the car suffered no damage

I realize that once Magic Carpet brokers the deal, everything is out of its control. Crystal was very receptive to our pleas and contacted Pioneer several times. I would strongly recommend your firm not use Pioneer again.

James, I am sorry you felt that I did provide Five star service. I tried everything to make this move possible to Arcata. This is one of the most difficult locations in Northern California, and no trucks like to go there. I did make arrangements with Pioneer who agreed to take it to Sacramento for $200 less than quoted price. Everyone seemed fine with that. I do apologize that this was an inconvenience to you; I just wanted your son to receive his vehicle. I will follow your complaints with our dispatch team and they will revaluate services with Pioneer. –Crystal Warner-
