After a hand full of headaches and worrying, end of story, I received my car. I was mid-lead on pricing to transfer my car from AZ to CT. I was under the impression I wold receive it within the week, starting my new job that Monday. However, I had to move and start work without my car for a week because a truck could not be found to transport my car for the price matched from another company.

I was very dissapointed by the amount of contact Anthony had with me throughout this process. It is my car, my possession in which I was putting into someone else's hands for a considerable amount of money. I was not updated daily on when my car would be moving- if at all. I would call everyday and make sure it was still going to get to the east coast.

After an addition of costs- the cost of my car was over $200 more than the original quote, and also over a week late. I had to then switch the destination of the city because I had to start my first day of work. When my car was finally picked up- I was still unaware of where it was, who had it, and what truck it was on. There was no contact with Anthony and the driver- very poor service. I did receive a call from the driver the day it was supposed to arrive- a week after it was picked up telling me he would be a day late due to weather. Weather is understandable, however, lack of communication is not.

My car is white, when it came off the truck, it was black. I had to immediately take it to the car wash and have a service do it by hand- -costing me another $20.

Needless to say- I will never transport a car across the country again, regardless of the price. I will also suggest to not use Magic Carpet Auto Company if you are thinking about doing this.

Kara, I apologize for the experience you had while getting your car moved up to CT. The problem from the very start was that we matched a quote that was too low and unattractive to any carrier. Per our terms and conditions of our Price Match policy, we raised the price back up to our original quote and then suddenly it was attractive and picked up. I am sorry for the length of time it took to get your car from AZ to CT. It was a perfect storm with the huge amounts of snow that hit that route, which is probably why your car arrived very dirty. I didn't do a good enough job of educating you of the lowest quote is not always the best quote. If we would have posted your car with the proper quote from the very beginning, we would've had better luck. Best of luck with your new job.
