Communications Problems Between Transport Co to Trucking Co & Shipping Co

Magic Carpet Transport Company was very helpful, knowledgable and available. I only had one issue and that was with the trucking company that picked up my car. They forgot they were to pick up my car on Monday Dec 16th and never contacted me in regards to picking up my car. This occurred even after confirming with Magic Carpet on Friday that my car would be picked up on Monday, they obviously never confirmed with the trucking company. Magic Carpet then told me to call them on noon on Monday if I had not heard from the trucking company which would be calling me 2 hours before pickup. When I called at 12:30 we learned that the trucking company had forgot they were scheduled to pick up the car and it was rescheduled for Wednesday. This pickup went ahead with no problems until arriving at Matson in Seattle where the trucking company was told that my car had not been paid for the transport to Hawaii and they were not going to accept my vehicle. I was called by the trucking company regarding this and I told them to call Magic Carpet, once they did the problem was figured out. And upon my request the trucking company called me back to confirm all was well. My vehicle is now on the boat on its way to Hawaii scheduled to arrive Jan 2nd. And today I received a call from a trucking company ready to pick up my vehicle, I told them my car was already on its way. So its seems Magic Carpet needs to be better at confirming the scheduling of the car pickup with the trucking company and should verify everything is ready with Matson so this sort of confusion is not a normal occurence and the auto transport runs smoother on all ends. With all this said I would use the company again in the future. Thanks.
