I was shipping a $90,000 Audi S8... Magic Carpet was a terrific broker, very knowledgeable, honest, and upfront with me about the way it works (they put a bid out there and independent drivers/companies pick up the bids). I appreciate this - unlike some other "major" brokers that claim they own their own fleet of trucks (total b.s. - all shippers are brokers). My rep, Kathy Ashlock, was terrific. She called me repeatedly to let me know the status of the car being assigned to a truck, called to let me know pickup would be delayed a couple days, called to let me know when it would be delivered (earlier than first estimated). And when I needed to revise the dropoff location to 90 miles further west, she put me in touch with the driver. Everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend Magic Carpet.
