I must start by saying, how skeptical I was to begin the whole process of getting my BMW moved from NY to Colorado. I had done an extensive search on transporters and was getting quotes by the truckload and horror reviews by the shipload. Most of them were saying how their cars never showed up for weeks on end and how they were damaged etc etc .Then I just happened to read about Magic carpet on Transport Reviews, with most all excellent reviews. Still in some corner of my mind I thought that it might just be possible that the reviews could have been doctored, which of course turned out to be not true. I did a 411 search of a reviewer and talked to him. He had positive comments to give about the company.
I called MCT and talked to Nicole and was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and courteousness before during and after the process. She returned calls and emails and was able to keep me updated about the transit of the vehicle. The car was picked up as promised, on a Monday and was expected to be delivered by Friday. To my, very pleasant, surprise the driver called on Wednesday and told me that the car would be delivered on Thursday morning and it was, and in a great condition too, not even dirty, just a bit dusty.
MCT is definitely not the cheapest as they are brokers and hire other transporters to move cars, but it is definitely worth spending a couple a few $s more and have the peace of mind as it seems that they have done their homework well and choose their transporters judiciously. Nicole was a very good person to work with as she did not seem to be inclined to exaggerate about delivery and pick up dates and gave an honest evaluation of the situation.
I have never written reviews on public sites before but MCT forced me to, by delivering my car in 3 days and change against the promised 4.
I would recommend them to others.
Just one gripe, if only she could get my name right in the emails.Nicole the name is Rajan-not Rajin : )
