Magic Carpet got me fast shipping at a premium price

I needed fast shipping from the Seattle area to Philadelphia. I was told that the agent likes to place bids in the top 25 percent on the boards so I would not overpay and yet still likely to recieve a shipper for my fast-turnaround needs. I accepted their advice based on high reviews on transport reviews despite the bid being about 14 percent higher than the competition.

Positive: Bid was accepted in minutes, if goes as planned I will receive my car on time, polite and well spoken people.

Negative: I feel like I overpaid (which is to the advantage of Magic Carpet), I was told twice that my credit card information was not on file even though it was eventually found, providing my contact info set off a deluge of emails with quotes, I learned through another agent that I was bidded as the most expensive car on the boards-seemingly contrary to the bid philosophy as explained to me

Chris you literally placed your order and within 2 minutes it was dispatched... you are upset cause you think you overpaid us?! our broker fee is 240 we dont get ANY extra money it goes to the carrier.... you were paying .36 cents a mile!! truckers dont pick up cars under .35 cents a mile you WERE NOT overpaying!!!! and you were placed 3rd on the board out of 5! I apologize that our five star service was to good for you! you asked us to get your car dispatched at a reasonable price... we quoted you at the price it got moved for that price you paid the driver 1,020 and are going 2,832 miles!! would you rather us get it dispatched in a week then a day?? we satisfied your needs in a matter of minutes and we do not low ball quote our customers to get their business we are upfront and honest.... if you wanted to go lower we could have done that for you but in my honest opinion it would not have moved for less then that! I hope that next time you leave a review on a company that it actually is for poor customer service
