Magic Carpet Transport assigned my vehicle to a transport company and then was unable to verify location, routing, and shipping information with the trucking company. I assumed that magic carpet being a broker for transporting vehicles across country would be able to get valid dates, delivery times, and route information from the trucking company. This was not the case. At times I did not have a clue where my vehicle was or when it would be delivered. After taking 30 days to cover a trip from California to Ohio, the car was finally delivered. As much as I would like to say that the broker was proffesional, I am sorry to say that I can not. They should have had better control over the transport company the car was transported with and been able to give me up to date information. Until things got totally out of control, and the police were notified, my car was missing and could have been on any truck anywhere in the US. The car was promised on three separate weekends, forcing me to drive a total of 9 hours each time just to find out the car would not be there that weekend. Many times I had to initiate the communication to find out that the car would NOT be delivered as promised.

Hi Jay, Thank you for taking the time to complete this review. Unfortunately bad experiences can happen in this industry and very unfortunate that it happened to you. While it's true, both you and I seemed to be being misled by the carrier - I did my very best to contact them and you every single day as well as several times a day. We are at the mercy of the carrier for communicating back to us and our management team did take measures to ensure this would not happen in the future. I hope you understand that your transport was equally as important to me as it was to you. Sue
