In November I had intended to take a motor cycle from Santa Teresa NM to Homosassa FL. As it turned out the method of transport didn't work so I needed another way to get my motor cycle from Santa Teresa NM to Homosassa FL.
On a Sunday I sent a request to a web site requesting information on pricing and availability for a transport. I did not expect any response until Monday however with in an hour I had received a call from Jon Sutton from Load Builders. He gave me a quote. It was more than I was wanting to pay so I explained that I was very flexible with the dates and was looking to pay around $500.00 total. Jon explained that he would have put out his feelers and see if there was anyone who would take the transport for that price. He said that maybe someone just needing to top off in the area may take it. He told me to give him a few days to see what he could come up with.
Within two days he called me and said he had located a transport with an enclosed trailer who would take the load for the $500.00 and we proceeded to make the arrangements.
I had already left the area and the motorcycle was with my son. We were contacted by Mach 1 Expedited Transport (Dave Krmpotich), he arranged pickup and gave us an estimated date for delivery. Dave was very professional, in fact he even through in the towing device that I was going to use and brought it to me at no extra cost.
My experience with Jon and Dave was painless and they were very helpful in getting this task completed. Being flexible in your transporting dates will help especially if you are looking for a deal. Given my experience I will use Jon Sutton with Load Builders for any future transport needs.
