The "Cable Company" of Car Transport

Remember when you had to wait ALL DAY for the cable guy to show up at your house? That would be King of the Road and their contractors. But the cable company was better: at least they didn't call you with multiple install dates and usually provided some means of common courtesy to call, if they were running behind. If I tried to pay KOTR the way that they delivered my car or provided customer service, I'd be in collections. Long story short: if King of the Road offered to pay to transport my car, I'd STILL pay another company to do it.

First, I want to apologize for the carrier's lack of communication. Sometimes they are not fully reliable on the phone, since it is illegal for drivers to be on the phone as they drive and that is what they are hired to do: Driving. In our end, King of the Road provided several updates both through email and phone (both voicemails and interactions with the customer) informing her every step of the way. The driver was 3 HOURS late on delivery (3 HOURS!!!), on a 2886 mile trip (and she was advised of the delay). I believe Tiffany may be familiar with cable companies, but she does not fully understand the vehicle transport industry or what it entails to ship a car such a long distance (even though we take the time to educate all of our customers). We can't blame her for this though, as this is a complicated industry to fully grasp. This review does not fairly represent the services of King of the Road, but rather the service from the actual truck driver. Regardless, we at King of the Road wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors. Jay Batista - CEO & President - 800-955-0644 ext.110 - jaybatista@kingoftheroadtransport.com
