stay away from interstate!

This is definetly a similar story to Stan's. I was new to this whole concept of moving a car accross country after buying my first car on e-bay. Same ole story! I was contacted buy phone by Mr. Martinez, and told all of the reasons why I should go with Interstate. They were a "carrier" not a broker and could absolutely confirm when my vehicle would be picked up. Now I was already anxious at this point due to past failures with 2 other companies. I was actually making a car payment on a vehicle that was not yet in my possesion! Mr. Martinez informed me that he had a truck with 1 avaible spot, heading to Washington state. For me to get that spot, I would need to jump right on it. Well, to make a long story short, there was no such truck. In fact, Interstate was not even a Carrier. They are a brokerage like the rest of them. Once they had my signed agreement, I could not get ahold of them. They definetly have caller ID, because when I called them on my cell phone, I actually got a person. This is not the type of company I would recommend to even my worst enemy, let alone trust with my car. So please, learn from my lesson, and do not even call these guys. I have filed a formal complaint with the Florida Better Business Bureau.
