I bought a car from ebay from a fellow Z car club member in Arkansas. I am located in Massachusetts. I wanted to transport the car enclosed trailer being that the car is rare.
I Contacted Jim at Intercity Lines being that they were recommended and from my state so I went ahead and scheduled it.
Right away Jim told me he could have a truck pick it up on 9/5/06. 9/6/06 came and I got an email from the owner who i purchased the car from, "your car was picked up yesterday morning at 9:30am my time".
I was shocked as he told me they were right on within 5 minutes of the time they told him they would be there!
Dan and Rita from Intercity Lines inc were the husband and wife team that picked my car up from arkansas to massachusetts. I got calls from them hours before the car arrived, then when they were in my state and then when they left the last drop off in the state and finally when they arrived at the destination! Hows is that for service!
so communication was great with me and the truck team delivering my car!
the car arrived and it was on the top level on the enclosed truck, I met up with the wife Rita as Dan sets up the unloading of the car. I payed all the money due as they did not ask one penny before pick up. car was unloaded and as others have described, it was well packaged in the trailer. Well taken care of. Chatted with Rita, shook hands and met up with Dan, shook his hand as they were very friendly.
I took notice on how much care and pride they had in their tractor. The tires were shiny with armor all and all stainless was polished. They told me they were going into intercity lines for truck service and trailer service then off to deliver again!
Overall, the whole experience was awsome from beggining to end! cars was safe anf sound. The Drivers Dan and Rita (wife and husband team, one of the many) were so friendly and both wearing Intercity line shirts.
