I booked a transport with inter-city, they intern subbed it out to Quality Relocation services, when I received my car I know it was on an open transport but they must have taken it through a mud pit. they also damaged the paint and cracked the fender, I could not reach Quality Relocation Services so I called Inter City, they told me that it was not there problem it was the problem of Quality. I informed them that I made the arrangements with them and that they should be held accountable, all Christy did was to tell me that they only had an obligation to provide me with a licensed shipper, I asked what a about a quality shipper she tried to sweet talk the reasons of why Quality was a good company. Well you be the Judge look at the reviews of Quality Relocation Services, customers are filing stolen car reports on them because they have not received their cars. If Inter-City wants to be a broker they should stand behind the company that they use. I still don't know what they Intercity did for the 175.00 I paid them I could have called Any company. Do not use either company, they have a scam going on and there is nothing that we can do about it. I am going to just file a claim in small claims court, I know I will never see the money it will take to repair my car, but it will make me feel better. oh and when Quality picked up my car the guy that sold me the car called right away to complain about the shipper, I contacted Inter-City right away and they assured me that Quality relocation was a very good company! don't believe any of these companies.

The detail that Mr. Randolf left out is the fact that he has not provided any proof of damage. Repeatedly, we requested pre-shipment photos of the alleged damaged area, pre-shipment inspection report, as well as repair estimates - we have not received any of this. Without proof of damage caused by the transporter, we cannot proceed with the claims process. As the shipping agent, we provided Mr. Randolf all of the necessary information to file a damage claim. Yes, Mr. Randolf could have called any company to do this and the outcome would be the same. There are federal laws in place to protect transportation companies from customers who think they deserve free shipping and those same laws require specific processes to file a claim - it is not a scam - it is to protect us from scammers. If there truly is damage caused by a transporter, the burden of proof should not be difficult and one would be highly motivated to go through the proper channels to be compensated for the damage. A note about negative reviews posted on all shipping companies... do not forget that you are only getting one side of the story. You are not reading the fact that the customer who reported their car stolen, refused to pay for their shipping because delivery was 1 day late of the ESTIMATED delivery date and the carrier legally gets to keep the car until the shipping fees are paid. Or the customer who thinks they can discount their shipping fees because the driver did not answer the phone when they wanted them to. This is transportation and you must educate yourself on the process before you undertake it.
