Horrible Experience

I want to preface this reveiw with why it took me so long to post this. I thought this experience was normal for shipping cars. It is not. I had an EXCELLENT experience with AutoZIpper Transport and Ace Transport. Please see my reviews I posted there for great service.

I had a miserable experience with Hunsky Trucking. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Hunsky Trucking to ANYONE. Please read this entry to get all of the facts. I am interested to see if Hunsky Trucking can offer an accurate rebuttal to these comments. I kept detailed records of the entire transaction.

I booked the shipment through Transport Services (see their equally bad review I submitted). I was told the car would be picked up and driven on the truck in front of my house. The owner of the company showed up on a Saturday morning (August 2nd) to pick up the car and drive it to a holding lot to wait for the truck. I specifically asked for the vehicle to be picked up and put on the truck immediately. Not to mention I paid an extra $200 for a Saturday pick to get my car there sooner. I was also promised delivery in a week by the owner of the company along with the booking company (again, Transport Services).

During transport, I called the driver 5 different times to find out the status of the vehicle after I could not reach the driver on his cell phone. I called Transport Services to get an update. They would try and call the driver with me on hold and could not reach him either. I received the vehicle 13 days after pick up (August 15th) at 930pm in a WalMart parking lot in the rain. I only had 1 phone call actually returned out 5 messages left over the 2 week period of the transport.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND Hunsky Trucking to ANYONE. I am a patient person and was never rude to anyone on the phone. I was inconvenienced with spending days at home waiting for pick up of the car and the lack of a vehicle for over a week past the date I requested the car with a large pickup window offered.

Call Brian at AutoZipper if you need your car moved. The experience with AutoZipper was easy and even pleasant.
