I recently purchased a Mercedes R350 from a dealer in Missouri, but I reside in Charlotte, NC. The feeling of finding a company to transport my new vehicle was very overwhelming, not to mention placing such an expensive vehicle in the hands of the unknown.

Late Friday, February 11, 2011, I Googled auto transporting companies and completed a quote request online. Immediately I began to get emails and phone calls after phone calls from brokers begging for my business. The very first email that I received was from Nichole at Hilton Auto Transport. The quote was very reasonable so – I went out to www.transtportreviews.com to find out additional information on multiple companies.
Over the weekend I received so many calls with various pricing from $440-$780, even broker telling me that if I chose anyone under $500, my vehicle would not ever get picked up, and drivers would look right over my request on the driving board. Between numerous emails and phone calls – I decided to revisit my first quote with Nichole.

I contacted Nichole on Sunday afternoon, February 13th, and she advised that for the same price as quoted ($475) she would work on securing me a driver. A $75 deposit was required, and she would contact me once she secured a driver. First thing Monday, February 14th, - Nichole contacted me advising that the driver would pickup my vehicle from the dealership Tuesday night, but no later than Wednesday morning. On Tuesday – the driver arrived to pick up my vehicle and was in route to Charlotte.

The only reason I did not give Hilton Auto Transport a 5-Star rating is because I think that the customer service could have been a little bit better. For and individual having a vehicle shipped for the first time, I was very nervous – and I felt as if I had just given my car away to a complete stranger. There was no contract to sign, no deposit receipt, and I had to reach out to Nichole to request my anticipated drop-off date. A simple email update finalizing the terms, and estimated drop time would have been sufficient for me. Outside of this one area – I thought Nichole was very helpful.

On a brighter note – the driver actually arrived two days earlier than anticipated, and was VERY nice and personable. My car was delivered in EXCELLENT condition with not a scratch on it.

If you are reading this review - I DEFNITELY recommend Hilton Auto Transport as your auto carrier of choice.
