Transport was a little bit difficult (1978 Corvette- low slung), but more than anything else it was located off the beaten track. in Wyoming As a result I wound up paying a little extra to get a driver out to pick-up location. This is not the first car I've had transported (3), and it seems that each time I've had to dig a little deeper than expected. And overall it was nice to have a door-to-door transport ( i have had to go to a terminal with a major company in the past).

When it became obvious that I was not going to get an expedited pick-up because of the location, Nicole was very apologetic and offered to give me a complete refund of my deposit. It was my idea to offer more as an inducement for the drivers. All the while Nicole was very helpful and communicated well, letting me know what was happening I probably could have insisted on sticking to the original qoute, but I was anxious to get my car. Driver was a nice guy, and worked late into the evening to get it off the truck.

This is the second time I've used an independant broker (the National company where I had to pick up at the terminal was way too expensive for door-to-door service, and the guy I used last time came in a couple hundred higher than Hilton Auto Transport, and in the end the driver in that instance wanted more as well. Hilton's bid was middle of the pack (not the lowest, and by far not the highest) and in the end I probably paid the going rate. Hilton had a great rnking, and more than anything else a lot of reviews.

I certainly will contact Nicole next time and give her another shot.
