I contacted Mellisa with Grifo auto about picking up my 1999 corvette in Chicago delivering to Waterloo Il going enclosed carrier she quoted me $400 ($300 for driver and $100 broker fee) and told me My credit card would not be charged until I was assigned a driver
I called Mellisa a couple of days later and she still had not found a truck she said perhaps Monday after the drivers come back from the weekend.so Tuesday after not hearing from Mellisa, I called and emailed her and informed her I was canceling and picking the vehicle up ourselves. Then she informed me of a 21 day cancellation policy.($150)
On the 19th of January I opened my credit card statement and she charged me a $150 cancellation fee to my card
So please do yourself a favor and use someone else not Grifo Auto Transport they are CROOKS

The client signed a contract on 1/7/16 to transport his vehicle on an enclosed trailer. I explained it can take some time to locate an enclosed trailer as there are a limited number of enclosed than open trailers, I received a request from a carrier on 1/8 but the client refused to pay the additional $25. On 1/11, 4 days later the client followed up on his request and we spoke on the phone. A day later without any notification the client sent an email stating he was cancelling the transport and wanted to drive the vehicle. I noticed the client booked with another broker Auto Trans and therefore charged a cancellation fee. Customers need to understand the transportation of a vehicle is not a taxi service and does take some time to arrange with a carrier. The customer was well aware of the cancellation fee when he signed the contract with our company.
