GREAT AMERICAN AUTO TRANSPORT WORST EVER!!!!!!

My name is Chris K and I just recently accepted a new job offer in Bakersfield, California and needed two of my cars shipped. One was a BMW 2007 335i and one was a BMW 2005 325i. Just like anyone else I wanted to save some money. When I called GREAT AMERICAN AUTO TRANSPORT I spoke to a guy named ROGER he told me his company was a five star company and accredited with the BBB. He quoted me $1,700 (quote # 2682-QW) for both my cars to be shipped to Bakersfield California from Richmond Virginia. His price was $300-400 cheaper than anyone else and being a trusting guy i believed all that he told me. My Pickup date was Scheduled on June 4, 2011 and I had informed them that i was flying out on June 6th. I placed my deposit of $300 online on MAY 26th, 2011 with GREAT AMERICAN AUTO TRANSPORT. Once the money was received THAT WAS THE LAST I HEARD OF ROGER!! I never received confirmation that my order was put through. I called repeatedly to have a confirmation sent to me and no answer! I sent numerous emails and even called 10-15 times a day hoping to reach anyone in the company that could help me, but no answer and no returned emails!! I searched the internet for other phone numbers that could possibly link me to someone and finally i got ahold of a guy named AARON FROST!! I explained to him that my phone calls were not being returned and all he could say was " ahh That's not cool." He went ahead and sent me my receipt of payment along with the remaining invoice of $1,400 cash on delivery. He reassured me that he would have ROGER call me with the pickup details and that ROGER WAS BUSY and out of the office at this time! It got closer to the pickup date of June 4th and still no call back. I again called the company like Crazy up to 15 times a day and all the answering service would say is leave a message. It came to the point to where the companies message box was full and now the answering machine would just hang up on me and not even allow me to leave a message. Saturday afternoon came and went and My cars where still parked outside my Apartment!!! I was Frantic at this point! I was NOT ABLE TO REACH ANYONE IN THE COMPANY AND ROGER HAD FELL OFF THE FACE OF THE PLANET AND AVOIDING MY CALLS! after about 20 calls I was able to reach AARON FROST! He told me.." we have not heard back from the truck drivers and that i need to be patient." He also told me that the pickup would definitely occur Sunday knowing very well that my flight out of town was Monday morning. He told me he would have ROGER call me ASAP with truck pickup details! WELL MY FRIENDS IT IS CURRENTLY 4:30 PM IN RICHMOND VA ON THE THIS WONDERFUL SUNDAY AND I SIT HERE IN MY EMPTY APARTMENT WRITTING THIS REVIEW.. AGAIN FUSTRATED AND STRESSED.MY FLIGHT IS EARLY TOMORROW MORNING; MY CARS NEVER PICKED UP AND AGAIN AS EXPECTED NEVER RECEIVED A PHONE CALL!! I HAVE ALL DOCUMENTATION TO PROVE MY CASE, FROM THE EMAILED QUOTE #2682-QW TO THE HARD TO GET CONFIRMATION EMAIL SHOWING PAYMENT RECEIVED BY GREAT AMERICAN AUTO TRANSPORT. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE...DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY! ONCE THEY RECEIVE PAYMENT THERE IS NO MORE COMMUNICATION!!! IF YOU GET A PHONE CALL AFTER PAYMENT YOUR ONE LUCKY GUY!! I'M NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY COMPANY AND I SURE THE HECK WOULDN'T WASTE MY TIME WRITING THIS LENGTHY REVIEW IF THIS NEVER HAPPENED! BY THE WAY THEY ARE NOT A FIVE STAR COMPANY BECAUSE THEY DON'T MEET THE REQUIREMENTS SO THEY CAN'T PUBLISH IT AND ANOTHER THING THEY ARE NOT BBB ACCREDITED! I recently called another company TRANSPORT CONNECTION and spoke to a guy named BILL! WITHIN 12 minutes after getting off the phone with BILL he called me back...he had a carrier for me along with pickup date and time!!! I was SHOCKED!!! NOW THAT IS HOW YOU DO BUSINESS!! Unfortunately in this business we are not always able to get vehicles dispatched to be picked up within a customers time frame. This was the case with Chris and his wife. Chris is the one that decided to cancel with Great American after we had the vehicle dispatched. The problem that we have is when competitors coach customers into writing nasty reviews that are not completely accurate. We have dealt with William Avrich at Transport Connection in the past. In fact, the review from 3/27 is speaking directly about him. Google search his name and tell me if you would do business with a man convicted of fraud. We wish that we could have helped Chris and his wife in transporting their vehicles and our number one goal is still customer satisfaction. We are always looking to improve our business and appreciate the feedback.
