Did not confirm Transporter was a "Go" so surprised me when seller called with "The Truck is Coming at 2"

Kat was knowledgeable and honest. I called to tell her I had chosen Get It Done. Later she called to say she thought she had a good hauler at $200 more than she quoted (mainly due to my car having a small cargo trailer that needed to ship as well) and he could pick it up tomorrow or the next day. I said "Yes, lets do it" and paid her their fee via credit card. She needed to get back to the Transporter to lock this in. But she never called me back or emailed me to confirm this fact. She also did not confirm the pick up day. I emailed her at 8:15 in the morning asking if all was set. Kat mailed the confirmation at 10:17 AM and then called me saying the driver wants to pick up today at 2 PM. I had not yet arranged the final payment to him- I was waiting for a confirmation from Kat. So here I am needing to send him thousands of dollars within 3 hours. It became a bit stressful to me between then and 5 PM when the money transfer finally was received by the seller. I did not want to deter the driver from doing this transport. In the end he delayed his pick up until the following morning and everything went well after that.
We wanted to Get It Done and did get it done, but "it" was not the way I would have chosen to spend my day. The last minute money arrangements that were foisted on my became a big distraction instead of a comfortable transaction!! Just one solid communication from Kat the night before, confirming the pick up day and time (Tomorrow!) would have made all the difference!!

Jim, Thank you for clarifying the additional cost of 200.00 was added because of a trailer that was also added to the order. Here at Get it Done Transportation we are one of the few companies that GUARANTEE our rates unless of course there is a add. Thank you for the good review and I am sorry you didnt receive your email confirming it was picked up, if you check your spam or junk im sure its there because it is an automatic email that goes out once the vehicle is loaded.
