I sent my truck from Bordentown, New Jersey to Nawiliwili, Kauai, Hawaii. I paid over 2,800 for enclosed shipping. It was picked a few days late. When the pick up was late, I called the company, got a cell phone number to Amy, left a message, and never got a reply. Then it was in an enclosed truck (I hope) from there to Long Beach. It sat there for about 2 weeks. Then it finally made it to Kauai about a month later. When it got here there was a hazy mist over it from the salt air. I signed out for it and left the harbor. When i took it home and washed it off, i noticed that there was a scratch on it and looked like someone had done a quick spray paint job. I was furious. I contated GT auto transport to see what could be done. There was no urgency to help me. I called the next day again and Amy said she was waiting for the paper work from Matson. Its been almost a month from that last phone call and I never heard word from GT Auto Transport Inc. again. I would caution potential shippers of this company. I did my part as a customer by paying the large shipping fee and doing everything they asked. I have lost my patience with them and would NEVER use them again to ship a vehicle. Don't get screwed over like I did. Make sure you use a quality, high end shipping company with superb customer service to ship your vehicle and protect your investment.

I SPOKE WITH THIS CUSTOMER MANY TIMES REGARDING THE DAMAGE DONE TO THE VEHICLE AND WHEN I SPOKE WITH THE CARRIER HE SAID THE DAMAGE WAS PRE-EXISTING... WHEN CUSTOMERS PLACE ORDER WITH ME I TELL THEM THAT IF THEY NOTICE ANYTHING THAT WAS NOT ALREADY THERE THEY WOULD HAVE TO PUT IT ON THE BILL OF LADING (INSPECTION CHECK) WHEN THEY RECEIVE THE VEHICLE... THIS PART IS THE CUSTOMERS JOB AND UNFORTUNATELY HE DID NOT DO THAT. SO WHEN I SPOKE WITH HIM THE FIRST TIME I ADVISED EVEN IF THE CARRIER HAD DAMAGED THE VEHICLE IF YOU DO NOT NOTE IT ON THE BOL YOU WILL HAVE NOT RECOURSE... IT HAS TO BE NOTED AND BOTH HIM AND MATSON WOULD HAVE NEEDED TO SIGN OFF ON IT. BUT AS I STATED BEFORE THE CARRIER THAT LOADED THE VEHICLE IN NJ SAID THE DAMAGE/ SPRAY JOB WAS ALREADY THERE BEFORE THEY PICKED IT UP... IF SOMETIME EVER HAPPENED TO MY CUSTOMERS VEHICLE AND IT WAS THE CARRIERS FAULT OF COURSE I WOULD FOLLOW UP WITH IT AND DO EVERYTHING I COULD TO GET IT SOLVED. I PUT MYSELF IN MY CUSTOMERS SHOES AND I WOULD NOT WANT THAT TO HAPPEN TO ME.
