I bought a 2000 Dodge Dakota 4x4 on ebay and needed to have it shipped. Since I didn't know better, I googled to find a transporter. The best offer I found was www.national-car-shipping.com. I now know they are just a broker and some pencil-pusher there charge me $250 just to broker the shipment with John @ Exclusive Auto. (The amount due John was $400 for a Dallas, TX, to northwest Kansas run.)
John had great communication throughout the shipment. Called and left me his cellphone number. Delivered at the arranged time. Couldn't ask for more.
If I do this again, I'll just call John to start with and see if he's going to be in my part of the country anytime soon! Without the broker, he could make a little more without the total costing me much more.
