We have shipped a total of 3 vehicles to/from Hawaii, and this was the only one that did not result in damage to the car! Although my main contact was not very knowledgable about shipping cars from Hawaii (such as that there is no pick-up and you must drop your vehicle off at the Matson port), she was not hesitant to ask her associates for assistance, which I appreciated very much. The delivery truck driver did not even attempt to drive into our subdivision, but he was very willing to work with my wife to meet at an alternate, more open location and coordinate getting both vehicles back to the house since I was out at sea at the time. I was advised that the travel would take approximately 12-14 days or so, but it actually took 27days which caused 2 more weeks of rental car use. This is not surprising due to the fact that the shipments off the island are not well scheduled, but are based on when the shipment is full and ready for transport. I do not fully blame Evergreen for this error. All-in-all, we were very pleased with the experience and would use Evergreen again.
