I would not consider using this BROKER again, or brokers in general. The price went from $775 to 975, and until they contacted me weeks later with a transporter, it was too late to find another. This whole process was disorganized and these guys are way stressed. Door to door is a joke as well. Why would you say that if it is a residential area?
The transporter, Lauritsen Transport, was an equal disappointment. The car arrived a day late and was damaged. The driver would have delivered my car at 10:30p the night before, but am so glad i didn't agree to that because of checking for damage. Can't vouch for the insurance either. I withheld one half of the transporter's fee just in case, and am glad I did, because Bobbie will not return my e-mails or calls on reimbursement for a rental, not to mention my time and aggravation. My time is worth something.
I think this is a racket, and I wish I could offer more on the best way to transport a vehicle. Just don't use these two companies who do not stand behind their promises.
