Eric was really great to work with. We agreed to take a slow approach, designed to save me some dollars over a normal, fixed-rate quote. Over the course of several weeks, Eric steadfastly worked the job, starting a bit low but from time to time bumping the bid to attract a pick-up. Ultimately, the price reached my budget ($1600) still with no takers, and we cordially agreed to part ways. But his diligence, customer service, and continuous communication with me throughout the experience was truly noteworthy, which is why I felt compelled to write this review - even though he wasn't able to attract any serious takers. Eric was surprised that the bid didn't get picked up, especially since in his estimation it was a good price; he theorized that the bad weather back East really turned things upside down, creating backlogs and pushing the law of supply and demand to its fullest. Anyway, under normal circumstances I expect it would have gone through, and I would definitely give them another try. Had the deal actually gone through, I would have given Eric/eBid 5 stars, but since it didn't, I'm only giving 4.
