Well, you are sending your 'baby' away - on a total stranger's hands - and pray that whoever picks up the vehicle would a) actually deliver it (not simply drive it away or sell to a pawn shop), b) treat it as much as you treat it.

Of the six to seven quotes you received, how do you make a decision that will give you a peaceful mind? I picked Door to Door based on a few factors. 1. Their website says they are own and operated small shop. (Though they still use third party trucks, they have their own trucks.) 2. They talk to you and openly discuss your concerns. 3. They proactively send you to the BBB site to check their ratings and reputation, and get you to see other people reviews.

All these calmed my nerves I have still been very skeptical. Then the drive called 15 minutes before he showed up at my door steps. I would feel a bit more at ease if Door2Door at this point talk to me and the driver at the same time - so that I know the driver is actually dispatched from Door2Door.

Anyway, the vehicle arrived to my destination within 36 hours - not too bad for a nail-biting anxiety. We are all good.

I am writing this experience down so that you can expect the kind of experience you will have with Door2Door. They are small and a fun bunch of people to talk to and do business with. You can trust these guys.
