Terrible Company

This is a terrible company. Don't use them -

After making all sorts of promises and assurances they didn't get me a contract until after the driver showed up to pick up the car. They never sent me the driver's insurance information - for all I know he didn't have insurance. They kept bouncing calls and messages around and didn't call me back. They promised delivery to Manhattan, which was very important to me as I am disabled. When the driver called for delivery he refused to deliver to Manhattan. He didn't know his way around New York and asked me to find him a place to park and deliver the car in Brooklyn. After finding him a place and giving him directions he couldn't find it and ended up in Long Island City.

When I told Door-to-Door that they promised delivery in Manhattan they yelled at me and said the driver couldn't do it and I had to be flexible and why couldn't I meet the driver somwhere in the Bronx for pick-up late at night. Really - they said this. And they then threatened to have the driver return the car to Minnesota. When I met the driver and asked why he had taken on a job for delivery in Manhattan he said when he spoke with the company - Door-to-Door - they told him he didn't have to deliver to Manhattan. So basically these people are dishonest and liars as well.

Oh, and the driver started calling me at 4:00 am on the day of delivery because he was lost. When I returned his call at 7:00 am he told me if I didn't get out to Long Island City soon that he would just drive the car back to Minnesota. The actual car transport company was Kay Auto Transport, LLC out of Columbus, Ohio. I would avoid them as well.

Door-to-Door said they would refund their portion of my costs - $95.00. Of course, they never did...
