My transport experience...

The beginning was great. Katie got me a competitive quote right away and gave me the confidence to go with Domestic Auto Transport over some of the cheaper quotes I received. After I was assigned a truck, the driver did not call me for two days, and the first time I spoke with him was for him to inform me that he was going to be a day late. No biggie, it was not a huge time crunch. I asked him what time we could schedule to meet as I am rather busy and we agreed on 9am Sunday morning. I arrived at my office (where the car was being picked up from) an hour early to make sure the car was clean and ready to go. At 9:10am I told myself I would give him another 10 minutes to arrive before I call. At 9:15am the driver called to tell me he was just leaving the truck stop and would be at my office in 45 minutes to an hour. I asked politely why he could not have called me earlier to inform me that he would be late. The driver responded "it's no big deal, I'll be there in about an hour." Honestly, it was not a big deal that he was behind schedule, it was a big deal that he had a poor attitude and no professional courtesy about being late. No apology, no explanation, just "it's not a big deal."

I would work with Domestic Auto Transport again because of Katie, but I would request that the vehicle not be touched by American Eagle Transport. If I owned American Eagle, the driver Jesse would be looking for other employment.

Cheers,
Ian
