This is the second transport broker company I have used. While I intended to use the first again, I did a search and found Domestic to be $150 dollars less expensive. I was warned that I was seeking transport during a busy time of the year, and at the low cost I was seeking, I might have to wait for some time. On the contrary, when Domestic submitted my bid, there was a transporter who had received a cancellation, and so my pickup was picked up in 2 days. I was very pleased with Domestic and with Allen during the whole process.

I did have a gripe about the transporter, who was unwilling to bring the pickup close to my house (admittedly we live in an area of narrow roads and few places to turn around). This seemed to have to do with the driver's not wanting to go any further out of his way (we were the last delivery before he could go home). However, none of this reflects on Domestic, just a cautionary tale when dealing with independent contractors.

I would recommend Domestic to friends and family, along with preparation for them in dealing with the transporters (know ahead of time what routes to recommend, scout out where a long truck/trailer combination can park, unload and get back on the road).
