Very helpful on the phone

This is the first time I have shipped a vehicle, so I didn't know anything about the process. Every other company I spoke with told me that "every other company wants to screw me, but we're different". I didn't get any information about how the auto transport system worked, or why the prices were what they were. I got a few quotes, some below 700, and some above 1200, and started trying to figure out who to pick. I figured I should find out how trustworthy these companies were, so I started searching.

Finally I found transportreviews. I looked up all of the companies I got quotes from, only to be shocked that nearly all of them had terrible ratings! I put my quotes list aside and started contacting companies that actually knew what they were doing. This is how I came to be in contact with Holly.

I spoke with Holly Burton over the phone, and over the course of an hour learned how the system works, why prices fluctuate so much between companies, how the drivers are paid and how jobs are picked (and how your car might not get shipped if the price isn't right, depending on the drivers). Holly was just trying to help me understand the process, and in the process won my business. I'm confident that I understand the system and now I fully know what to expect.

My car will not ship until next month, so I will write another review after the whole experience is over. So far everything has been great, and I don't expect that to change.

Full disclosure: Holly said that if I posted a review (though she did NOT tell me to say good things or in any way coach me) then instead of a $50 mail in rebate which comes standard with the service, she would instead take $50 off of the quote. I'm not marking that I was compensated, because that $50 would have been given to me even if I hadn't posted a review.
