Correcting Type of Payments Due to Carrier

The overall process was easy and direct, without the exception of understanding, I believe, a national message board that is available to all transport carriers.

It appears that as the primary contractors, Domestic, appears to have little or no control over the subcontractor carrier, especially CKS Trucking, LLC, the initial carrier that abruptly canceled the pickup and lied about the reason and posted that the customer canceled the pickup, which clearly was a out lie. The second carrierMid AmericanAuto Trans met and completed the process as it was stated.

Again, Domestic appears not to have control over the payment process. It was stated that the payment could be a cashier check, money order or cash. I am glad that I had cash, because Mid American only wanted cash.

If this is a business based on the higher price posting for pickup, it is mandatory that Domestic clearly get an email from the contractor committing to the three forms of payments and communicating that to the customer that the subcontractor is in agreement with the payment that Domestic agreed to.

Please be advised and email this to CKS Trucking LLC that I will follow-up to file an administrative and/or legal actions for that interstate adverse practices.

Thanks and have a great holiday.

Thanks so much for your review! So sorry about the payment issues... I've never had a carrier ask for no money orders until that moment. We did get another carrierquickly though who was so much easier for you to work with. So glad everything worked out! Take care Jerome!
