Still waiting for my car…

The company sent me an email to review my experience before my experience was even complete so here I am giving it. The process of scheduling and picking up the vehicle that needed to be transported from Illinois to Florida was a great one. The problem has been the delivery, or lack thereof. The initial estimated delivery date was 6/22. On 6/22 they called and said it would be arriving between 1-5pm on 6/23 and that the driver would call me when he was 30 minutes away. Fine, I know the initial estimate can change. At 5:15 on the the 23rd I call for a status update since the time window has passed with no call. I’m told the driver is running late and he’s in Orlando which is at least a two hour drive from me in Tampa. Jessie said it would be another 3-4 hours… At 6 I call back to ask if they can just reschedule for tomorrow 6/24 because by the time the driver arrives it will be dark and I’ll be unable to properly see the car to inspect and sign off for any damages. Jessie said unfortunately she could not make any changes. She put me on hold to call the driver for his location. Again, at 6:00 she confirmed he was on his way to Tampa but was stuck in traffic (very typical on I-4) and that it would be another 3 hours (but at least he was on his way!). She provided me the driver’s (Jason) phone number, though, and advised I call him if I haven’t heard from him by 8:30. Welp, at 8:45 I haven’t heard from Jason yet so I call. Straight to voicemail. Wait 15 minutes, call again, straight to voicemail. Thirty minutes later I call, someone answers and hangs up. Shortly after 10pm I call and a woman answers, a child is screaming in the background, and tells me I have the wrong number. A number I repeated back to Jessie two or three times when she gave it to me. So now it’s almost 10:30pm, it’s storming and I have no idea where the driver is and if he is still going to deliver the car tonight. Even worse, I have no one with Direct Auto to call because they are closed. Their website says if a customer delays delivery additional charges will be incurred. My question, besides where is my car, is will I be getting money back?? Needless to say, though I’ve certainly expressed it here, I’m no longer impressed.
