Bad carrier

Upon much deliberation, I decided to use Direct Express. The website was great and seemed like an overall great company. I called & made my order. The lady I spoke with (never gave her name) was friendly. After 2 weeks of not hearing that my car had been place on a truck I called in. Come to find out they don't actually search for a trucking company to place the car on until the day before you ask for it to be picked up. They did find a carrier but not a good one. It's easy to go out and find a trucking company for you but I firmly believe they do not research or care where the car goes. I was assigned to NAO Auto Transport out of Spokane WA. When I called them to schedule a pick up time, they had no paperwork about the pick up. The driver had no clue that he was to pick up my car. When they did pick it up, it sat in WA for many days. My car finally made it to Ohio but damaged. The car isn't even a year old and has scratches throughout the entire body. When asked what happened, the driver just said 'Oh yeah, tree branches'. He didn't care, he still gets paid... So yes, Direct Express was friendly and ultimately did their jobs however that's the easy part, the actual work it done by the driver and trucking company. Looking back, I would fully research the trucking company they assign you to. Unfortunately, I was trying to move my family across the country & didn't have time to do so...

Tracie said, quote - Direct Express was friendly and ultimately did their jobs - end quote. We appreciate the kind words and are sorry Tracie is dissatisfied, but it takes a tad longer to amalgamate truckloads from Tacoma, Washington to NE Ohio. More popular routes go faster most definitely. We wish Tracie well in all her future endeavors.
