I've shipped numerous vehicles sight unseen over the years and this was easily the worst experience. This is primarily due to the carrier that was brokered the shipment. I never heard when the car was picked up from either Direct or the shipping company and the delivery was several days ahead of time, which normally wouldn't be a bad thing except I had asked about pickup/delivery twice and the delivery date was reiterated and I made personal plans accordingly. The driver was belligerent and a jerk about my lack of accommodating his schedule quite frankly. While I have had vehicles delivered to my door several times before, for whatever reason this guy couldn't and had to drop it at a Kroger parking lot several miles away. Again, he was completely unapologetic when I questioned him about it and acted like I was in the wrong somehow over the whole thing. He kept referencing things in his contract with Direct Express that you as the end user never see from Direct and quite honestly has no bearing on you or your initial purchase. While the cost of shipping was reasonable, the whole experience was a headache and would grade out as about a D in my opinion.
