Couldn't get the job done

Shipped with direct express the week prior with no issues. This time their estimate was apparently too low because 8 days later my car had still not been picked up and I was given no indication that it would be picked up. I cancelled my order and contacted American Auto Movers who were incredibly honest and prompt. My car was picked up within 5 hours from initial contact (a feat that Direct express couldn't accomplish in 8 days).

They may have an A+ rating from the BBB but when they can't accomplish their primary job it really doesn't mean too much. I also notice that they have roughly 40 complaints with the BBB. There are companies with far better records out there. Huge win for American Auto Movers. Massive fail for Direct express.

Our outstanding reputation including A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau speaks for itself. We assigned customer Jeffrey Gaines car the first time in ten minutes because he was shipping from Sacramento to Anaheim. Mr. Gaines second shipment went slower because he was shipping from Anaheim to Bonifay, Florida (not Alabama has he posted) which is in a very remote location in the panhandle. He probably overpaid the other carrier to get that done. Most of our other customers understand that remote locations can slow things down. We wish Mr. Gaines lots of success in all his future endeavors.
