Never having shipped an auto, I got about 7 quotes and spent a lot of time emailing and talking to various folks. I settled on Direct Auto largely based on reviews here. They were NOT the cheapest, but they also seemed to only claim what they could actually do, not sell me false promises, and not keep me on hold forever. They met every requireement the said they would (date, time of transport, etc.). When I had questions (after I paid my broker fee), they still took every call I made and gave me clear information about timing while remaining friendly. Compared to some other comments I've seen on this board, I am satisfied that I made a good choice in picking a company that wasn't playing games with me and would recommend them.
