Nervous, but shipment turned out fine.

Decided on DAS based on E-Bay listing after purchasing the vehicle there. The seller used the company once for a shipment of a classic car from the east coast to California without a problem, and I know someone living near me that used DAS to ship a '51 Studebaker and an 80's Mercedes from CA to SC a few years ago. I had to pay extra for expedited delivery, top-load, since the car has a vinyl top, and door-to-door service. Pickup was a little late, as the seller called me to complain. I called DAS, and the customer service rep was right on it. Estimated delivery date was 9/13. Their 24-hour online tracking seemed vague; most of the time it stated vehicle in transit. location Mesquite, TX, where DAS is based. By Friday, I was getting a little worried, and began looking at some of these reviews here on this site, and e-pinions. The reviews generally weren't very positive, and the Dallas Better Business Bureau gives DAD an F rating. I was beginning to expect problems, but at around 8am on the 13th, I received a call from a body shop nearby that they had the 1968 Mercury Cougar XR7 to deliver. The driver was great, and the car is much better than I expected. The radio antenna was pushed down as far as it could go, but the top was bent, and there was one mark on the hood where something must have hit it, but it mostly buffed out. I was generally very pleased with DAS's service. I hope I don't have to ship a car again, but would consider them if needed.
