I was extremely skeptical about using a company I found on the internet to transport a car my father was giving me over 1700+ miles. The main concern that I had besides the cost is how the company made me feel when corresponding over the phone. I called DAS because I had questioins about deposits, reservations, drop off locations, etc. My first call made me feel a little more at ease, Kevin told me the difference about companies who charge deposits & who don't, assured me that I could make a payment even on the day vehicle was due to be shipped, even remembered who I was on later phone calls I made to him. He even went above and beyond by calling me back to let me know that the new rate for shipping my vehicle was cheaper than what I was originally quoted a prior. The drop off & pick up location were both convienently located for both my father & myself. The staff in Fayetteville, NC made my father feel at ease when he his own inquiry on the company by stopping by the drop off location a couple a days prior to leaving his car. I said he was very pleased with them. When I recieved my car it was just as great as the service I was given. I The car was perfect, no damages, clean, etc. The only thing damaged on my car was a chipped windshield that my father had told he had marked down during the inspection. I thought it would take forever to get the vehicle from the drop off location. It took me less than 15 mins to get in the door of the DAS terminal & behind the drifver's seat. I would highly recommend this company for anyone that seeks vehicle hauling services. I know if I ever need to ship a vehicle anywhere I hope Kevin is still with DAS to help me with my needs.
