We really looked into this. Don't deal with a broker. You want to deal with the actual folks who are going to pick up your vehicle and transport it. There are probably 20 to 40 brokers out there for every real transport company - the folks who own the transport trucks. DAS was great! They picked up the vehicle at our home, noted the exact condition so there would be no issues, and it arrived on the west coast about 2 days ahead of schedule. BUT the most amazing thing is their ON-LINE TRACKING system! When you get your order number, you can enter it into their website, and it tells you the exact vehicle location - up to the minute. It must be satellite tracking, because we could watch the location change every 20 minutes when the car-transporter was moving. One night we saw they were still going through Idaho after 9:00 PM EST, and we thought they might be driving through the night. The next morning at 6:00 AM EST they were still at the same location - so they must have taken a break, but a short time later we saw they were moving again and watched as they passed into Oregon, and to the distribution center. When they are moving the location updates about every 15 to 20 minutes. It is so neat to be able to see exactly where your vehicle is at any given time!
