I Hired cross country because on the phone i was given assurances of professional and company owned trucks i gave the company alll the info on my pick-up. contract was altered from phone discussion but nothing to do with price just a later pick up date and inclosed trailer option and i preferred a open trailer no biggie but stilll changed first driver shows up with a inclosed racing trailer both the driver and his female helper could hardly speak english needless to say all my truck fit but the mirrors would not fold in its a pickup truck they have wide mirrors i get a call frome 2 different dispatchers asking demincions on my vehicle as if the contract dident discribe my truck so i get someone to get all the measurements for them and i calll then some dispatcher ralph calls and tella me the new pick up date and says how hard its going to be to find someone to move the truck at the price quoted i told ralph i have a signed contract and you have a deposit rhlph goes on and on i tell him i need the truck moved soon i get a date that was today august 11,2009 welll no one showed up and no one called so my review is to stay as far away from this company as you can there word means nothing and neighter does a signed contract they say beware of brrokers but they cant own there trucks because they cant control or notify people of problems i will post a final review if and when crosscountry either moves my truck or i get a deposit refund P.S. 1988-1989 chevy pickups were the most manufactured pickups ever built 67 million of them seems that this company should have moved one or two before ????????????????
