We signed a contract and made the required deposit of 200. by VISA about one month prior to the pick up date. Red Flag #1 asked A.J. Ponticelli if Cross Country was a broker or the actual trucking co. He lied and assured me that C.C. was not a broker. On the day of the scheduled pick up I called to confirm and was told that the car would be picked up that evening. It was not. For the next 14 consecutive business days I was repeatedly lied to about the pick up. Some excuses included but was not limited to were : truck broken down.could not find driver , driver lost, driver not answering cell phone etc. We received these excuses after being placed on hold for up to 20 min at a time. After demanding our deposit back we were given the name of a bogus trucking company that would now do the pick up. See above for the same B.S. excuses, which went on for several days. We again demanded our deposit back since C.C. breached their own contract. We were then told that we needed to send a certified letter to obtain a full refund. We are now filing a claim with our credit card company, pressing federal charges against this company for interstate credit card fraud. One month later our car is finally being transported by a reputable transportation co. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE DISHONEST SCAMERS. THEY ALL BELONG IN JAIL!!!!!
