The overall experience was good but there were times I wasn't sure about the outcome. I knew that the travel route was not well used by the carriers but Cascade assured me they could find a carrier. They did find a carrier but that took 15 days and only after I agreed to pay a $160 premium over the quoted cost. To their credit, Cascade did offer to cancel the contract/agreement but I'd already waited a long time and didn't want to start over with another broker. The selling dealer insisted that they had to pay for the shipping for tax reasons. That is, if they didn't pay for shipping then they'd have to charge state sales tax on the purchase. Anyhow, Cascade was able to accommodate third party payment of the shipping to address this issue. Much appreciated. The only other challenge was communications with the carrier. This will be resolved next time by calling the carrier immediately after assignment. I needed an accurate pick-up date and time to buy a 24 hr travel permit, which can only be purchased during regular working hours and days. I also needed 3 hours notice to meet the carrier at the Canadian border. The carrier had to wait until I could buy the required permit. It was frustrating for both of us but the carrier was excellent. This wasn't the responsibility of Cascade but earlier communication with the carrier would help. Anyhow, I've shipped with Cascade before and I'd use them again. Clear communications is the most important.

Hi Ken. Thank you for the review. I know it took alittle longer then we anticipated to get your Acura moved. But with all the obsticles we had to go through i'm glad we did get you picked up.
