I was going to use another shipper who was recommended by ebay but after reading their contract I decided to do some more checking and I found this great web site (transport reviews .com). Thankfully my additional research lead me to Cascade Vehicle Shipping. They were top rated for the route from Florida to Washington and had excellent overall ratings.
I called them and spoke with Jeff who was extremely personable as well as being very well informed. Their quote was well within the ranges I had been receiving from some of the other less highly rated firms. He explained everything in detail and what he said would happen did happen. The vehicle was picked up about 2 days after I spoke with him. He emailed me to inform me of the process every step of the way and when I called to check on things I got rigiht through to him and he said he would check with the driver and call me back, not more than 10 minutes passed and he called me to tell me when delivery would be made.
The driver called me as well to confirm the date and time. He arrived within 10 minutes of the agreed upon time and unloaded my Mercedes Benz SL 500. My access road did not allow his rig to bring the car to my door but I drove the MB and he followed in my BMW. He was polite and did not rush me while I surveyed the car. The car was perfect. With only a slight touch up it could have gone back on the showroom floor. I am not an easy customer. When things go wrong people know I am not pleased, when things go very right, I praise highly. Cascade and Jeff deserve my highest praise. I would gladly use them again and recommend them to any one who is concerned with quality and service.
