While it was enclosed transport, the truck had "windows" along the top which did allow dust in so the car arrived a bit dirty. It also had oil dripped onto the cloth top which did come out with a little spot remover. A tarp should have been employed to prevent that, but it cleaned up OK, so no harm, no foul.

The driver was friendly and pleasant. The only issue that arose was that I was expected to pay cash or check COD, and that wasn't disclosed to me (or, should I say, if it was disclosed, I missed it). I had given Chris, the owner, my credit card info over the phone so he could charge a $400 deposit. I assumed (incorrectly, it turned out) that the balance would be charged upon delivery so I arrived w/o sufficient cash and no check book. The drive called his dispatcher who did accept my credit card over the phone so again, no harm, no foul, just a little extra drama that could have been avoided.

The quote I received was $120 less than Passport & Intercity, and $345 less than Horseless Carriage. I didn't choose this company based on price, however: I chose them because they promised to pick the car up in 2 - 5 days and deliver it in about 5 days after pick-up. Passport quoted me 10 business days to pick up and another 10 business days to deliver. That works out to as many as 4 weeks overall, but since I've used them before, I placed the order. After an entire week had gone by I was told that it would be another 10 working days! They promised it would be picked up by Aug. 16th. I angrily canceled and placed the order with CSL Auto Transport and the car actually arrived at destination on the 17th, one day after Passport promised to just pick the car up and possibly take 2 more weeks to deliver.

I wouldn't ship my Bentley in the sort of vehicle that delivered my wife's Jaguar XKR and would insist on a fully-enclosed truck, so be mindful of this when ordering. Also be aware that CSL is a broker and the $400 deposit I paid them was actually their brokerage fee.

Al in all, it was a positive move and I can recommend them, but with the above caveats.
